Description
LeftOverChef is an app to tackle food wastage. After cooking, when left with left over ingredients, many people, especially beginner cooks, do not know what to cook with the left over ingredients. They end up throwing the food away. With our app, with a snap of a picture, they are able to collate all their left over ingredients and with another click of the generate recipes button, they are able to generate dynamic recipes that suit their preferences, thereby reducing food wastage and allowing them to save money!
Additionally, there is a pantry for users to record and keep track of their leftover ingredients, so that they do not over buy ingredients in future grocery runs. Lastly, it has featured, favourites and history page for keeping track of recipes users like, allowing them to easily return to the recipes they like.
